The ASEAN region has a combined GDP of almost $3.0 trillion in 2023 and based on The Asian Development Bank (ADB) estimates, Southeast Asia average growth of 5% per annum will be one of the fastest growing regions in the World. Anticipating and riding this ASEAN growth cycle, RGA Group in 2023, recruits experienced professionals to further expand and deepen its businesses and relationships with its customers and markets.
S&P Global analysts suggest that Indonesia and the Philippines which have strong domestic markets will have less growth risks compared to the rest of the ASEAN countries except Vietnam where manufacturing led growth will be strong for the country this year. In 2022, Indonesia already saw US$43 billion in foreign investment, and we expect this number to increase in 2023, in part helped by its standing as the only G20 member in ASEAN, abundance of natural resources, and large domestic market of 280 million people. Indeed Indonesia offers long term investment opportunities, and RGA Group welcomes global partnerships, offering regional know-how and networks to its partners.
